When sales orders are processed in a sub-optimal way it can lead to errors, additional costs and poor relationship with customers. So our client was looking at automating the Sales Order Process. He needs an order management tool to streamline orders from initial acceptance, through order approval, invoice generation, inventory control and to final delivery.

The Client

Our client was a leading Non-Banking Finance Corporation with a wide spread network of over 77 branches in 5 different states. With a comprehensive range of custom lending products, our client offers vehicle loans, micro-business loans, loan against property and swift cash loans.

The Challenge

A loan origination is a lengthy and time consuming process which includes all steps – from the loan application, through underwriting, approval, documentation, and disbursal of funds.

With increase in demand for credit by individual entities, our client need to reduce the time required to field opportunities. Our client was also facing other challenges such as inefficient process framework, disorganized document storage & retrieval etc. He was looking for a system that automates and manages their end-to-end lending process.

Our client realized the importance of harnessing technology for offering a seamless digital experience and had partnered with Coherent for a comprehensive solution.

The Solution

We designed a Loan Origination System(LOS) that automates workflow for loan processing – from acquiring a borrower, to processing their information, to vetting their credit standing, documentation and then finally approving/rejecting funds.

This new system meets the needs of frontline, back-office and executive staff and improves efficiency at every level. We have also digitised the tedious and time-consuming affair of procuring and preserving documents.
